This is advanced info about the " Dedicated Server" version of the game. This is a stripped-down version that contains only what's necessary to HOST multiplayer games -- it has no single player mode, no way to join or play a game, and so on. It is designed for individuals and companies that want to run the game on computers that are typically located in remote hosting facilities with very high speed internet connections.
If you want to host a game from home over your DSL or cable modem then you should use the dedicated server mode that's built in to your version of the game. You will not get any advantages from using this version of the game.

If you didn't buy the full game and you're thinking you just found a way to play without buying it, think again. This is not a playable version of the game. It's only good for hosting games.
