Hustler Magazine Puts Stamp of Approval on the POSTAL Babes
Thass right, gamer, the POSTAL Babes and their POSTAL Boobies are headlighting a special section on videogame vamps in the August issue of Hustler, due out later this month. We've already got some samples to tease you with, but as our friend at Hustler promises: "We print the photos no one else will!" Not even US! And once we get that POSTAL Babes DVD completed, I suspect we may be able to once again charm our way into the sticky pages of Hustler.

Team POSTAL Strikes Again! Chad Griggs dumps Homer Moore
The quintet of Mixed Martial Artists (MMA) sponsored by Running With Scissors scored yet another victory this past weekend, bringing the group's collective record to a stiff 8-1 since signing with RWS. The latest hero is heavyweight Chad Griggs, who stopped veteran Homer Moore in round three at Saturday April 29th's Rage in the Cage 81 in the Mesa Amphitheatre in Mesa, AZ, earning Fight of the Night honors in the process. The Australian Situation

For the third issue in a row, Australia 's POSTAL-hating is pissing us off. What is their major malfunction? Why are they screwing with our faithful fans Down Under? Aussie customs was prepared to intercept any copies of the game physically imported into the country, but RWS sidestepped the entire insanity by signing deals with Softwrap and Vindico/Deliver2Mac to allow users to download the games virtually anywhere in the world to PCs and Macs, using the companies mentioned above to deal with the various currencies, etc.

This move has pretty much finished off Australia's attempt to keep POSTAL from polluting its convict-founded shores, as Mitchell Bingemann, a writer for the Australian editions of PC World and Gamepro observed in a recent story.

I do believe this image
gets funnier every time
we run it...

Meanwhile, Michael O'Flaherty writes from the heart of the storm: "I've been a big fan of the POSTAL series since its inception. I would say the GTA and POSTAL series have been my best 'escapes' in order to relax and take a step away from reality. I can't say (with any honesty) that I have felt inspired to mount a cat on a shot gun or steal an ambulance although I guess I would be in the minority should I believe the statements of Jack Thompson or other sensationalists who believe they have found the predominant cause of violence in society.

"In Australia the capital city is the ACT ( Australian Capital Territory ) with the main component of that territory being Canberra . Canberra is the home to our parliament and is where the majority of Australian bureaucracy is defined. My favorite announcement I heard prior to leaving Canberra was the fact that it was made illegal to have circuses in Canberra that had exotic animals... got me thinking that it's a strange state of affairs where it may be easier to get a movie of an elephant riding a woman than going to the circus and watching a woman ride an elephant."

RWS Supports VGVN

"RWS has been on the bleeding edge of game politics ever since 1997 when we launched POSTAL; it's our duty to support this cause!" declared Vince Desi upon hearing the rallying cry from the Video Game Voters Network (VGVN), a "grassroots nationwide movement of gamers [that] was formed to defend an American institution: the Video Game. Your collective actions created a thunder clap on Capitol Hill generating over 20,000 messages to the Senate about the Family Entertainment Protection Act."

To echo Vince , we should ALL get behind this move to preserve one of the few freedoms we still have left – the right to play the video games we want. Click here to support the cause.

POSTAL Cards

That Russian kid we reported in our January issue who flipped out after reading an anti-Semitic tract and attacked several people at a synagogue in Moscow was sentenced to 13 years in solitary confinement. Professional RWS hater Jack Thompson made a fumble-fingered attempt to blame the boy's computer games (especially POSTAL 2, of course) for the incident…

In Ravenna, OH, meanwhile, a cute prank in which five teen girls produced Nintendo-style Mario mystery boxes (complete with that enigmatic question mark) and hung them up around town got buzzkilled when somebody called the cops, who over-reacted and brought in the bomb squad, none of whom grew wings or accumulated any other discernable power-ups in the "disarming" process. See, even Nintendo gets people into trouble; it isn't just us…

Oh yeah, Running With Scissors is now officially recruiting Senior and Junior level designers to help create POSTAL 3. For a list of the requirements, link here and see if you have just the alchemy of the Right Stuff and the Wrong Stuff to become a part of the World's Most Dangerous Software Company…

And finally, Aaron Molloy has begun playing the sounds of POSTAL 2 on his radio show from Lewisville , TX . That should make for some cheerful late night listening! (-at least until his boss finds out! Shhh...)

Overseas Editions of The Urinal Still Overflowing the International Scene

German
The Dude Magazine - This is the most ambitious POSTAL fan magazine project we have seen and contains original material. We at RWS are in the process of granting them free access to all materials from The Urinal – in fact, since some of these publications can show nip, you might want to check them out for POSTAL Babe shots that even WE can't show you. In any case, at the moment this is simply a magazine devoted to POSTAL and The Dude and whether you can read German or not, it's well worth checking out. In fact, when you check out the Postal Nation column in this issue, you'll learn about an incredible new project being launched by Stefan – The Dude DataBase!

Also, our old friend Ralf Strugale has updated his cool German POSTAL site at http://www.postal-world.de/

Russian Russia has certainly embraced the POSTAL series – we've sold, like, millions of copies over there – so it was inevitable that a site such as this would turn up. Take a trip that melts the Iron Curtain, comrades, and see what a Urinal looks like in Russia .

Portuguese Postal Network: Pedro is among our oldest and most loyal fans and among the first to seek permission to translate our newsletter into other tongues.

Swedish I mean, with all those hot, blond POSTAL Babes, you KNEW there hadda be a Swedish version, right?

Italian Manuel Marino, nother of our true veterans and hall of fame fans brings you a Urinal with Italiano zest!

Benelux/Dutch D. Dam Wichers decided The Benelux countries need The Urinal too, folks. This is a recent effort and we wish Danny Dam the best of luck.

Japan Toshi informs us POSTAL is extremely popular in the Pacific Rim and I'm sure we'd do even better there if we included bondage shots in the games. Oh well, you can't have everything.

Gallic/French This is the publication that drew 18 different suggestions for an appropriate translation of our title. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a Ouamdu Ouamdu to run here.

This International POSTAL phenomenon has somewhat overwhelmed us, but if you're game for posting our newsletter in the language of your choice (from Klingon to Hobbit to Brad Pitt in "Snatch"), let us know and we'll do anything we can to help get you started.
